I went on a little vacation to see these lovely ladies:
it was a good time.
I realized my little sister Jessica is going to be a super model. Don't believe me?
I hate to say I told you so, but..... I told you so.
We went to an Amish place... it was great.
and I saw my sister Alisha. |
then I met Luke Carla's BF.... ooohhh! |
So, since I had an early flight out of Indy (which is an hour out from where my family lives), I thought it would be a great idea to just get a hotel room the night before, so we could be close to the airport. So I called Colby, my main man, asking him to book us a hotel room close to the airport, and being the peach that he is, he did so. We headed up to Indy early that day so we could see the sights and explore a little bit. We drove around a little while and saw some awesome things. We decided we wanted to park and walk around for a while, so we found a huge multi-level parking structure (that cost an arm and leg per hour) and parked. As we walked out of our parking structure, there were quite a few people standing in front of an alleyway, but we didn't think much of it because they were all smoking (see picture), and we just assumed it was a smoke break for them. We wandered around Indy, went to the hugest, bestest, most awesome mall (and yes, it was so great that it called the use of a word that doesn't even exist). After the mall, we decided that we should go back get our car and head to the hotel. As we were walking back towards the "smoke break" spot, it was filled with police and reporters instead of smokers. We were like " WTF"... (and being the nosy people we are) we tried to look down the alley to see if we could see what the commotion was... we couldn't. So we (I) thought, "well uh we are parked on like the 100th level of this parking structure next to the alley, we can go up to our car and look over the side." That was a part genius idea, and part bad idea. Well, it was genius because we could see into the alley, and it was bad because we saw a dead man laying in the alley in a pool of blood. Yep, dead man. It was sad, this guy looked like he was about my age. It broke my heart a little bit. RIP alley man.
Yeah, the dead man was kind of a damper on the day, but all in all it was super fun trip. I can't wait to see them all again in Texas in a couple of weeks for my cousin Tiffany's wedding. Colby is coming with me this time so we won't have to miss each other. (He was quite the lonely poor boy)
UPDATE: Although Colby was lonely and sad I was gone, he told me to say that it was nice to watch Sportscenter and eat "boy food" for a week.
awe. so sad. i'm sorry about your unfortunate event with the dead alley boy. that's so sad. and he was so young!!!
